Giving an account

I found this thought-provoking, this morning. I would defy any Christian to deny s/he has not considered all of this deeply. I have been struck on numerous occasions with a degree of inner trembling or something nigh equivalent when I contemplate the propitiation/expiation debate and the sense that elders must give an account also for those whom they have shepherded (Hebrews). What will happen on the last day do you think and how does the Bible speak to you on this topic? How are we to engage in issues of God's judgment with a post-modern and largely biblical illiterate generation?
