Let it all be done in a spirit of fellowship and mutual edification for as this really fab bloke (understatement! His 'Gospel and Spirit' Issues in New Testament Hermeneutics' is a brilliant read, so good I can't put it down!) says:

“It is hardly possible in a day like ours that one will not have denominational, theological, or ideological preferences. The difficulty lies in allowing that it might really be true that ‘all things are ours,’ including those whom we think God would do better to be without. But God is full of surprises; and he may choose to minister to us from the ’strangest’ of sources, if we were but more truly ‘in Christ’ and therefore free in him to learn and to love…But to be ‘of Christ’ is also to be free from the tyrannies of one’s own narrowness, free to learn even from those with whom one may disagree.” – Fee, The First Epistle to the Corinthians, NICNT, 156. (Oh, this book is so expensive).

Very interesting idea, a blog conference - I registered, and am looking forward to it.

Welcome to the RevGals blogring. A good way to get involved is to play the Friday Five (it's just for fun), participate in the Saturday 11th hour preachers party, and leave comments on other blogs. It's a good group of supportive folk from all walks of life.

Hi Rachel,

Is there a place for my post on Galatians 3:27-28 to be included in this blog conference? How would I go about getting involved?

Hi Peter
I think you would have had to get in touch with the church before now to actually generate debate about your post, which I haven't read yet, but I will.

You could get involved by commenting with some of your thoughts in response to some of the guest contributors, though. Take a visit here:http://www.achurchinryde.com/blog/?p=181
