Jainism and Sikhism's emphasis on equality
Around the World in Eighty Faiths is on. The faiths which the Anglican priest is exploring tonight are interesting. There is austerity as well as joy and a respect for the equality of all peoples under God. They are monotheistic religions and very different to Christianity, there is no sense of a triune God but perhaps Jainism and Sikhism are not so different for some of the principles which lie at the heart of the faiths. The Indian people perhaps have a sense of community and love for one another that we have lost in secular Britain.
Ordained Anglican. Thinking out loud about church.
