I had a quick scan through this post. It amazes me that we are still, in 2009, arguing over the issue of women bishops. There is ample evidence in the gospel of how much Christ valued and included women in his ministry, encouraged women to learn and entrusted them with the news of his resurrection.

ReplyDeleteIt seems to me as if there are just too many men out there who like the idea of being in sole leadership far too much and just won't let it go....
ReplyDeleteYep - it sure does need sharing out - in that way it really would be 'complementary'! ;-) I thought at New Wine there would be more ordained women on the stage - maybe next year!
