That was such a good good class. We did that a while back in our old church and I was prepared for more of the same-old, same-old, but it was SO SO SO GOOD!
Yes, my Christian reawakening occurred through Nicky Gumbel preaching from the Bible in an Alpha class about four years ago, my heart burned within me and I became hungry for the Bible in a way that I had never been before. Two years ago, I accompanied my husband on his Alpha course and we both came to understand the power of the Holy Spirit, in a way which we hadn't understood before. Nicky Gumbel preached where I go to college, as as guest speaker with a guy called Mike Pavalachi and it was amazing. Nicky Gumbel and his wife have a huge church: Holy Trinity Brompton, London whose website is just fab! He's got a real passion for the gospel and a very humble way about him. He must have brought so many people to Christ world-wide.
